Media Matchmaker is totally unique. It has been built as a two-way interactive media platform for BOTH journalists and organisations. Journalists can search and send out targeted media alerts, save lists, search for experts and so on, while recognised organisations can receive targeted media alerts and upload news alerts, allowing them to be reactive and proactive to the news stories within their sector. With Media Matchmaker you only connect if your preferences match. This ensures that there is no spam or time-wasting on either side.
Most media services do not offer both of these options as part of an overall package. We believe that Media Matchmaker is the UK’s first two-way interactive media platform. And remember, we are available across desktop and mobile devices, ensuring that everyone can access the information instantly wherever they may be.
If you are looking to raise your profile and continue to build creditability then this is one of the easiest, fastest and most cost-effective ways of achieving your goals. We are matching you with journalists direct, so you are in total control while giving you the best opportunity to secure ongoing publicity with targeted media that’s right for you.
No, not at all. You can easily set up your own profile and media preferences to ensure you only receive the type of publicity that is good for you and your organisation. The media has changed so much over the past decade and even though you can upload unlimited press releases and articles as news alerts, you can also add a quick summary of how you can help the media.
The media has changed how it wants to receive news stories. The demand is to be more reactive to the news, which is great for you. We will show you how you can react to the daily news and send a news alert to your targeted media that you can help with an expert comment, case study or news story of your own.
Journalists will search for organisations and experts with either a quick or advanced search.
When you choose your media pass you will be able to add the right amount of sectors and keywords to highlight your expertise. Journalists can then search by location, keyword and sector, along with lots of other advanced search features.
When you join Media Matchmaker you will be rewarded the more active you are. Similar to Google and other search engines, the higher your profile is and the more active you are the higher up your profile will appear in the search results. You can be rewarded up to five media stars and, just like Trip Advisor, journalists will be able to rate you. So when you help out a journalist they have the option to add a media star to your account, but each journalist can only do this once. Equally if you waste a journalist’s time or send irrelevant news articles they can remove a media star to ensure best practice and transparency for all journalists.
It is extremely versatile. You will get support articles all the way along to show you how to get the best out of showcasing you and your organisation. You can also join Club100 and we will make sure we get you Media Matchmaker ready with all the PR and media training you could ever possibly need. Plus, when you join Club100 and complete the PR and media training course you will get a media star awarded to your account, putting you ahead of the search results when journalists come looking for your expertise.
Our membership is totally flexible. You can choose the media pass that is right for you along with paying either monthly or annually, annually will be a huge saving. You can cancel at any stage by emailing email@example.com and we will cancel your membership within three working days. You can also upgrade or downgrade your account at any stage, just email us and allow up to three days to action this for you.
Absolutely! The media platform has been built with the capacity to promote tens of thousands of organisations and more than 90,000 journalists in the UK. We would be delighted to talk to you about securing a licence with us and have a selection of options that will work for you. We are currently speaking with associations, charities, universities and PR/marketing agencies.
We have an excellent affiliate programme set-up that we would be delighted to talk to you about. This will not only help your members secure ongoing publicity in the easiest of ways, it could also reward you with an ongoing residual income. Apply for more details here and we will arrange a time to speak.
In order to make sure we help journalists reach their deadlines with the right type of experts, articles and news stories, we want to offer this to all organisations and business owners across the UK. By registering your free profile you will still have the chance of being media matched to journalists. When you upgrade your media pass you will have more features and options offered to you, which will skyrocket your profile even higher, making you the first choice in the search results.
Media Matchmaker is a free resource for journalists. The media is continuing to change at an alarming pace and how journalists search for content to produce and experts to back up their stories has changed too. On demand news stories means that having access to a dedicated media platform can deliver them targeted sources to help them get a news story live quickly.
We have been working with journalists from the conception of Media Matchmaker to going live and we have taken on board many of the features they have requested. This has included being able to search for diversity, location, sector, keywords and so much more. The feedback from journalists across all media platforms has been amazing and we literally had them calling us to ask when they could start actively using our service.
We are looking to expand Media Matchmaker outside of the UK and we are currently speaking to journalists and potential partners. If you would like to enquire about a licence to work with us in another country you can add your details here.
